Martin Lay first became involved in martial arts when he started studying Tang Soo Do in 1986. He went on to become a regional and national champion and in 1999, competed in the British Team, winning silver and bronze medals. Among other disciplines, Martin has studied boxing, kickboxing, ground fighting and weapons. He has used his knowledge and experience to create a mixed martial art with a structured, progressive syllabus.
Martin is also a qualified personal trainer and fitness instructor.
Michelle Lay first became interested in martial arts as a result of joining a Jujitsu club to learn self defence as a teenager. She started training in Tang Soo Do in 1996. After winning several national competitions and achieving black belt in 1999 Michelle has gone on to study MMA and teach in schools aswell as within Warriors.
